At MoneySpentLog, your privacy is our highest priority. This policy explains how we handle your data and our commitment to absolute privacy.

1. Data Collection

MoneySpentLog is a "Local-First" application. This means 100% of your financial data (expenses, assets, income) is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain any central servers that store your financial records.

2. Google Drive Permissions

If you choose to use the Cloud Backup feature, our app requests access to your Google Drive (`drive.file` and `drive.appdata` scopes). This allows the app to:

• Create an encrypted folder in your Google Drive.
• Store your local database backups for safety.
• Restore your data to a new device when requested.

We never see, read, or share your Google Drive contents. The connection is encrypted and handled directly between your device and Google's servers.

3. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service used is Google OAuth for authentication and storage. Their privacy policies apply once you sign in to your Google Account.

4. Your Rights

Since your data is stored locally and in your own cloud account, you have complete control over it. You can delete your local data or your cloud backups at any time through the app or your Google Drive settings.
